Our General Code of Conduct Need to Be Strictly Observed By Students and Parents


General Code of Conduct

Students and Parents will have to comply with the school rules and regulations. These rules and regulations may be changed by the school as and when required. The parents will be kept informed of such changes through notifications and circulars.

·      Every student must carry the Students’ Diary to school daily.

·      Every student should wear the Identity Card. Students should be always clean and neatly dressed.

·      The school uniform is to be worn on all working days and for all school functions.

·      Boys should get their hair cut at regular intervals.

·      Moving from one classroom to another between periods should be done in silence and in an orderly manner. Running in corridors is strictly      prohibited.

·      Shouting, loudly, talking and whistling is strictly NOT allowed inside or around the school building.

·      Care should be taken of the school property and no student should scratch or spoil the desks or chairs or damage any school furniture or write or draw anything on the walls.

·      Damage done should be reported immediately to the class teacher or the coordinator concerned.

·      Students are not allowed to bring any sharp instruments to the school, such as scissors, blades,penknife or any kind of article that can cause injury to others.

·      Students are strictly instructed not to bring any valuable items such as expensive watches or fountain pens, camera, smart phones, laptop, iPod, iPad etc., to school. The school will not be responsible for the goods lost.

·      Girl students are advised not to wear any valuable jewelry or gold ornaments in school such as chain, bangles, rings, bracelets,etc.

·      Students are advised not to eat chewing gum in the school.

·      Students are NOT permitted to carry or use mobile phones in the school.

·      Lending or borrowing of money or other articles is not permitted

·      All the students should observe and follow good and polite manners even outside the school as the name of the school is judged by their behavior.

·      Students are advised to keep their classrooms, school building and campus as clean as possible and to always throw the left overs into the dustbin provided in each classroom and also in corridors.

·      Students should greet their teachers whenever and wherever they meet them.

·      Being an English medium school it is compulsory for all students to converse only in English in the school premises. Use of vernacular or any regional language is strictly prohibited.

·      Students indulging in aggressive or violent behavior in the bus will not be allowed to use school transport.

·      All senior students should treat the juniors with love and affection and the juniors should show respect to their seniors.

·      Any damage to the laboratory equipment shall be compensated by payment of the cost by the student concerned.

·      Regular late coming of students, frequent absenteeism, improper uniform and carelessness in studies will be viewed seriously.

·      Parents are required to inform the school, if there is any change of address or telephone numbers.

·      A student should observe the rules of the school. Good behavior is highly essential.

Recommendations For Parents

·      Parents are expected to follow the rules and regulations of the school given in the School Prospectus, Students’ Diary and External Circulars sent from school time to time.

·      Parents are requested to send their wards in proper uniform and on time to the school.

·      Parents should see that their wards are regular and punctual and ensure that they are on time for the morning assembly.

·      They should ensure that only authorized persons escort their children to and from school.

·      Parents can meet their wards and the teachers during the school working hours strictly with prior permission of the Principal.

·      They should see that their wards come to school with necessary books and stationery and observe the rules of the school.

·      The school will be sending, at regular intervals, External Circulars, Progress Report Card and remarks through the Student’s Diary whenever necessary. Parents are requested to go through them and sign them if required, to avoid inconvenience to their wards.

·      Parents shall ensure that all students enter the school campus before the first bell as all gates will remain closed after the first bell. They will be opened only after morning assembly.

·      Parents are requested not to send their children to school if they are medically unfit.Children who suffer from infectious diseases like Chicken pox; Measles, Mumps, etc. shall not be sent to school until they fully recovered and certified that they are medically fit to attend school. The school reserves the right to send the child home or not to allow him / her to attend school until recovery. A medical Fitness Certificate is to be produced in such cases.

·      A report on the academic performance, attendance and general conduct will be sent to the parent at the end of each Term.

Dress Code

·      Students must wear their uniforms with pride and ensure that they look neat and presentable at all times.I

·       ID-card is an integral part of school’s uniform.

·      A student must always come to school in uniform, also during the practical and special classes.

·      No student is allowed to attend any Open House/PTM, school function in or outside the school in any dress other than school uniform.

·      It is mandatory for girls of KG section to wear bloomers under their skirts/tunics.

·      Ensure that your ward carries the tissue paper with him/her every day without fail.

·      Student not in complete/neat uniform can be debarred from boarding the bus/entering the school.

·      Girls are required to wear headscarf, both inside the campus as well as when they go out to represent the school. Failure to follow the rule will result in issue of yellow card.

·      Non-compliance of rules given above will result in issuance of yellow card and repeated offence will result in suspension for a week.

·      Students must come to school wearing the proper school uniform.Uniform must be neatly cleaned and ironed.

·      Personal cleanliness, hygiene and neatness are expectedatalltimes. Hairmustbeneatly cut/pinned/plaited and combed. Nails must be kept clean and short. Boys must maintaintheir hair trim and neat. Fancy hair styles and coloured hair is not allowed.

·      Students are not permitted to wear costly or fancy watches, chains, earrings, belts, gold jewelries etc. Primary students are not allowed to wearwatches.

·      No shoes of any other colour other than black or any kind of chappal are permissible in the school.

·      Failure to comply the above rules may result in the student being sent home after two warnings recorded in the students’diary.

Library

·      Strict silence must be maintained in the library.

·      Books will be issued to students of classes VI and above.

·      Each Student will be issued one book at a time. The book borrowed should be returned within one week. Failure to do so will result in a fine.

·      No book will be further issued unless pending items are returned.

·      Reference books are not for issue. These books can be referred to within the library only.

·      Students should not disfigure or damage the books. Violation of this norm would invite suitable deterrent action, which may amount to the withdrawal of the library facilities for the student for a limited period or for the whole academic year.

·      The charge for the lost book will be decided by the Librarian.

Science Lab

The Science, Mathematics and Computer Science laboratories are areas of intensive learning using expensive equipment. Students perform various experiments. All this requires a quiet and calm learning environment. It’s a great place to convert theoretical knowledge into real experiences. We request all students to observe the following rules while performing their practical sessions:

·      Maintain complete silence.

·      Follow the instructions given by the teacher.

·      Bring practical record books and observation note books to the laboratory.

·      Handle the equipment and chemicals very carefully.

·      The student will be responsible for any breakage or loss of apparatus issued to him/her.
